About the Cape Cod League

The Cape Cod Baseball League is widely regarded as the top summer collegiate baseball league in the country. Playing on Cape Cod is a rite of passage for elite college players — over 300 Cape League alumni have gone on to play in the MLB, including Chris Sale, Buster Posey, and Jeff Bagwell. The league uses wood bats exclusively and scouts attend nearly every game. Roster spots are extremely competitive, typically reserved for D1 starters and elite performers from top conferences.

Who It's For

Elite D1 starters, top draft prospects, and standout performers from Power 5 and top mid-major programs. Most players are rising juniors or seniors with significant college experience.

What It's Like

Cape Cod is a popular summer vacation destination. Players live with host families, giving it a community feel. The towns are small, the beaches are close, and the league has a deep tradition — fans turn out regularly and the atmosphere is unique in college summer ball.
